Contributing to the realization of a sustainable society

Aerial transport facilities that move use motors to move wire rope are characteristically efficient, inexpensive and “clean.” Nippon Cable contributes to building a sustainable society through its provision of these clean products having a low environmental burden through the conservation of energy and resources, as well as through the reduction of waste. Developed and constructed in Kanagawa in 2021, the permanent gondola for city use, “YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN”, is one example of how we contribute to society. As a leading company in the industry, we engage in many activities, such as ensuring the safe operation of ropeways by holding seminars for engineers and sending lecturers to various meetings, along with the stimulation of the mountain tourism and ski resort markets by publishing management magazines for the tourism/ski area businesses and sponsoring events and ski competitions.
